What’s the best advice you’ve ever received about putting together a manuscript? I think back to Chris Abani telling me:
This of your work as an album or Mix CD. How do you want the narrative arch to go?
If you write fiction, how do you set your chapters up? How do you tell the story? Is it linear? Think about short story collections, screenplays and novels.
